About Me

My name is Levi Booth. I am 29. I have no wives and no children. This is me enjoying a Japanese BBQ (I’m the one… oh, OK yeah you worked it out.)

There are 2 main things that I love: Japan and Jesus. My life now mainly revolves around a combination of the 2, with a bit of sport thrown in. As a child of the 80s I also have a love for bad action films (I recently saw G.I. Joe: Retaliation. It was terrible. I highly recommend it!) and Nintendo computer games.

I have recently graduated from Oak Hill Theological College and am currently preparing to head out to Japan as a long-term missionary with Overseas Missionary Fellowship (OMF). For more on that see ‘The Vision’ page.

I’ve found that when I’ve told folk that much they tend to ask me quite a few of the same questions, so I’m putting some FAQs together. But if you’d like to ask me something else, or just get in touch then please do.

Once I’m in Japan I’ll be sharing stories and thoughts on my experiences out there. Until then I’m planning on throwing up some thoughts I’ve got on prayer, missions, and the like, as well as the occasional link to cool stuff about Japan.

Disclaimer: This is my personal blog. The views expressed here are therefore my own and not those of OMF International, or anyone else for that matter. You got a problem, you come and see me (but I warn you, I have watched a lot of Jackie Chan films).
